This week my son had his sixth month check-up and the four month appointment was so rough I had a little anxiety about it. After the four month he was irritable for about 4-5 days. The shots just made him extremely fussy and he had a slight temperature. I was expecting this time to be the same. We gave him the sugar water before the appointment and maybe it helped?. Not sure. Whatever the reason it went much more smoothly. He cried when he got the shots but immediately afterwards he was fine. No fussiness for a few days post check-up and no bruising from the shots this time. His was weight was in the 35th percentile at 16 pounds. He was almost 27" long. Everything looked great! You know what? You don't stop worrying from the moment you're pregnant...haha until probably never. I still worry about my baby constantly and I'm not sure it will end anytime soon.
