I can't say this enough.  You are going to plateau many times throughout your weight loss process.  I do all the time and you read about me whining and complaining too.  Eventually your body finds a balance.  Even if you cut your calories after several weeks your body becomes use to it and your basal metabolic rate slows down.  You are now smaller, therefore, burning less calories than you use to.  I took a lot of good advice from Dr. Katz who writes for Oprah's magazine.  I love this quote from him, "You may feel stuck, but you're probably still losing weight—just not enough to register on the scale. But even dropping a third of a pound per week means that in a year, you'll be down a whole 17 pounds."  Changing up your diet (even adding calories for a week) or a drastic change in physical activity can help shock your metabolism.  What did I do this week to get out of my "rut" and I even lost 1.6 lbs.?!  I ran 2 miles and walked 2.  I never run because I'm terrible at it.  I've had exercised induced asthma all my life and after just a few short minutes I get wheezy and want to give up.  I surprised even myself and was able to control my breathing for the entire mile.  Refer back to the past 30 blogs and you will see that I've had many plateaus but now I'm close to my goal weight and you can be too!
